How was it Carried out Limitations Car park survey Method Why Required The limitations of this are when cars leave or entre (for example when Sophie and I went round counting we got one number the first time and a different number the second time). Questionnaire This is required so that we could find out the reasoning for people visiting Malham and what was/is the attraction. Each member of the class had to ask two different members of public, they went over and asked if it was ok to ask some questions and wrote the answers down on the questionnaire. There are two limitations to this one is that we could be refused (someone could say that they wouldn’t answer the questions) and two we may not get the information we want (for example ‘we just wanted to stretch our legs’ they had just stopped at the restrooms (hypothetically). Field sketches Field Sketches were required so that we could remember things that we saw (the two landforms). We sat down looking at the two landforms (on two separate occasions) and drew a sketch of each of them using lots of detail and labelling important features. The limitations of this are that the field sketches may not be detailed enough. |
